To be the first leading organization in the Cajamarca region that produces, collects, transforms and markets Tara, Beans, Cereals and Tubers; recognized at the Local, Regional, National and International level; improving the standard of living of its members committed to the organization and care of the Environment and our native species.
We are a cooperative committed to the sustainable production of Tara, legumes, cereals and tubers, with a focus on the conservation of biodiversity. We are dedicated to working for the benefit of our members, their families and the market, with the aim of improving economic, social and environmental conditions. We base our actions on extensive experience in the sector, backed by transparent and efficient management of resources.
Our fundamental objective is to increase the technical capabilities of producers to convert tara into a profitable and sustainable crop to generate better income for our partners.
We are the only producers in all of Peru with organic certification for Tara and throughout all these years, we have specialized and generated a technical package validated at the national level, to scale the business for the benefit of our producers.
We produce, collect, process and market tara, with a deep philosophy of respect for nature and fair conditions for both the client and our producers.
ENVIRONMENTAL: We have achieved the formalization of 715 hectares of tara forests thanks to management plans with SERFOR (between organic and conventional).. p>
SOCIAL: : We generate business opportunities and improvement in technical capabilities for 159 associates from some of the poorest communities in Cajamarca, Peru.
The cooperative actively works to clarify the tare purchase price, avoiding speculation and paying at least 20% more than the conventional purchase price. We promote productive and income diversification with 54 complementary products to the tare produced by our associates.
